Our Humble Beginnings

In 2015, Meena purchased Solution Accounting from Cheryl and John who were both retiring. Solution Accounting had two partners, one full-time accountant and one part-time receptionist.

Solution Accounting operated from the 2 outside tenancies with the middle tenancy a coffee shop. Meena previously owned an accounting practice on the Gold Coast but desired to base himself in Brisbane for work and his wife and young son.

On the purchase of the practice, the name was changed to Solution Accountants and an additional full-time accountant and receptionist commenced.  Meena also started Yellow Brick Road Stafford, a lending business with one full-time staff member.

In 2017, we underwent renovations to connect the 3 tenancies to provide a more open plan office space, extending our downstairs file room and creating an uncover car park at the back of the building.

Awards & Recognition

At Solution Accountants, excellence is part of our DNA. Over the years, our Managing Director, Meena and the firm have been recognised nationally for innovation, expertise, and client-focused service.

• 2019 – Meena won the award in the inaugral 30 under 30 Accountants Daily award in Property category. Reflecting on the achievement, he said:  
  

  “I’m really proud of this achievement – it has not been without hard work and I am so thankful for the support of my team and family.”

• 2020 – Meena has been named finalist at the Accountant Daily awards in two categories, Property Specialist Accountant of the Year and Accounting Consultant of the Year.
• 2021 – Meena and Solution Accountants were again recognised as finalists in Property Specialist Accountant of the Year, Accounting Consultant of the Year, and SMSF Firm of the Year.
• 2022 – Solution Accountants has been named finalist for two categories, SMSF Firm of the Year and Business Advisory Firm of the Year.
• 2023 – We were recognised as a finalist for SMSF Firm of the Year for the third consecutive year.
• 2024 –  Meena received a nomination for Specialist Consultant of the Year, while Solution Accountants was named a finalist in the Multi‑Service Firm of the Year.
• 2025 – Meena was once again recognised as a finalist for Accounting Consultant of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards.

These accolades reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding service, innovative solutions, and trusted advice to individuals and businesses across Brisbane and beyond.
